The Batz house used to house the smokehouse as well as the crêpe and far workshops of the mill. It was a dark, smoky room… but very popular!
Today, the cottage is spacious, calm, and bright, thanks to its three large skylights. It opens directly onto a private, enclosed garden, with a terrace offering a beautiful view of the river and the mill meadows. The furnishings are simple and harmonious, and the whole space offers about 55 m². When the windows are open, you can enjoy the gentle sound of the flowing river.
On the ground floor, the fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living area via a large counter. The living room includes a sofa, a coffee table, a flat-screen TV, a wood stove, and a dining table. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and features a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine.
Upstairs, on the mezzanine, there is a double bed (140 cm) and a single bed (90 cm). A second single bed can be added if needed. The skylights are equipped with blackout blinds.
A garage is available for storing bikes, strollers, roof boxes, or other personal belongings.
