The mill

In the middle of nature

The Kerellec Mill was built in the middle of the 14th century. It is the last mill on the river Horn before it flows into the sea on Dossen beach. In operation until the early 1980s, this large-scale mill underwent several modifications and enlargements over the centuries. It manufactured several types of flour, could grind up to 20 tons of cereals a day. It was a place of life, exchanges and meetings...the ideal place to start a rental activity.

From the middle of the 1990s, the Mill and its outbuildings have undergone many renovations and maintenance, with the creation of 4 independants cottages.

Horn river

The Horn River, is 30 kilometres long and originated around Landivisiau. The level of the river varies enormously according to the seasons.

The river crosses the estate and divides into two streams. It is an ideal body of water for boat trips. The lucky ones may be able to take out a roach or an eel!

Animals

The meadows around the mill are occupied by a herd of sheep Ouessants!

A little about us

We are a Franco-German couple, Jan and Pascale. We have 4 boys, Arnaud, Tanguy, Paul and Nils.  During these last 20 years, we have all put our energy together to restore and maintain the Mill. Our goal is to make it a comfortable, warm and authentic place, so that each family finds peace and holiday spirit.
